Ahead of our session, I submitted screenshots of my Hinge profile as well as a survey that dug deeper into what I was looking for, and my own values. I initially felt vulnerable sharing my profile but the sensitivity with which jade conducted the session was superb. Together, we discussed how my profile could be tweaked in some areas, tailoring it to better showcase (unapologetically) who I am.

Jade helped me shift my mindset towards dating apps to be one that is more empowered i.e., through presenting yourself authentically, you will naturally repel those that do not align and that this is in fact a positive thing.

Jade was able to make suggestions (including completed prompt examples) to better assert who I am and what values I hold, as well as showcase my personality. She suggested that my profile inadvertently suggested that I was looking for something short-term / casual - which was far from the truth! I have since made amendments and the quality of the matches and conversations has improved considerably.

The session flew by and it was made fun by Jade We also got deep at times, sharing anecdotes of our own dating highs and lows. Thanks to Jade I feel a lot more confident in my approach to dating which came at a time when I was ready to throw in the towel!
